Fried Snapper In Sweet And Sour Sauce. Tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, cucumbers, baby corn, pineapple, and more cooked into a mildly spicy but very sweet scrumpdillyishious sauce. It was the closest thing to the tamarind sauce I wanted but was not able to find this time around. Banana Pancakes Were My Downfall. After ten years of resistance, I finally gave in and tried one. It’s sliced bananas and egg wrapped in a crepe-like blanket, quick fried in copious amounts of oil and then butter, cut into bite sized squares, and smothered in chocolate, strawberry, and condensed milk sauces. Fried Water Bugs. One of the bar boys thought I’d enjoy the challenge. Not. Too much work, having to rip the tough outer wings off, yet still leaving too many hard, sharp, pointed legs and antennae.
