How lucky I felt when I escaped Anita Bryant’s Florida, and landed in wild beautiful crazy San Francisco. And yet within a year or two,the AIDS crisis became a terrifying nightmare. I would like to think that through it all our community came through even stronger. We’ve come a long way, baby. On the other hand, the losses were so great, we’re only half of what we could have been. Can’t wait to see this project.
