Thailand Calling — Bars Reopening

Thailand seems to have kicked coronavirus in the ass, and is now slowly reopening. But not to Americans. Yet. Ever?

Here’s a few posts from our Jomtien Beach community correspondent, Paul Raynor, and Wang Innok, who works at my favorite, ummm, beergarden!, the @Home Bar.

Translation: After the rain stopped……. I thought I wouldn’t have a customer.. foreigner…. but a lot.. Thank you.

My spies tell me they just welcomed a delegation of big fat cat US top military brass. But they made them submit to nasal swab tests first.

I also hear that they’re only doing high-end tourism right now. VIP tourist are sent to the island of Phuket for their luxury 14 day beach quarantine packages. Then they can continue to the rest of Thailand.
