I just got word this morning, I’m confirmed to shoot tomorrow (Friday August 16) at Valentino
Presents 21 Year Anniversary Party. It’s at Club 21 in Oakland, easily accessible via Bart just two blocks from 19th St. station.
It’s Quite The Party
This will be my third time taking the worthwhile trek to the popular weekly East Bay bash. I hear there will be a $1000 balloon drop, and the usual eye popping, boner inducing go go papi chulos. Plus the hilarious Violetta and her Aries Travesti Show with Rommy Gonzalez and Jacqueline Aguilar, and tons of hot Latinos and Latinas.
Earlier This Spring:

Over $1,000 in cash prizes were given to the top finishers of Valentino Present’s Go Go Dancer Of The Year contest. A big crowd turned out for hostess Violetta and the eye candy. You can see my origional assignment as it appeared in the nightlife section of EdgeSanFrancisco.com.
One Year Ago:

The spacious Oakland venue was filled to the brim with a sexy Latin crowd. They were treated with a champagne buffet, performances by drag diva Violeta, hip hop sensation Nina Sky, and sizzling hot go-gos. You can see my original assignment: Latin Explosion 20th Anniversary as it appeared in the nightlife section of EdgeSanFrancisco.com.
Click on any of these dozen or so teaser photos to go go to my gallery of 311 prize winning outtakes from the competition earlier this spring.
Fitness expert Vincent Gatdula gave a stunning performance of sexy, arousing acrobatics.
Garmin Award winning choreographer Luis Paul Canales, aka Strobe.
Watch as this divine supreme teacher is sent to help me zero in on my “Shenpa”. Bull’s eye, this time. Normally, I’m a chill, content, charming, happy go lucky kind of guy. But every now and then, even I, sweet little ole me, am tested to the point of losing my cool.
What led up to this?
For ten minutes this skanky, cracked-out, possibly homeless, nothing left to lose kind of drag queen had been propositioning, panhandling, then mocking, and harassing just about every person waiting at the bus stop on the way home from the Castro Friday night.
She gets on without paying, and proceeds to annoy anyone near her. I go sit in the back as far away as I can get, behind a 30’s ish couple of European tourists who are OBLIVIOUSLY having a two way video chat via their smartphones with friends from the homeland. They did not speak fluent English.
When is somebody going to check this bitch?
The monstress with the snake hair assumes they’re taping HER and her annoying rants, so she threatens to snatch their phone and slap them upside they haed. They have no idea what she’s saying, but they’re starting to figure out something’s wrong. Wow, I’m thinking, when is somebody going to check this bitch? That’s when I whip out my cheap ass $50 Getto PCS smartphone and start taping this tawdry yet instructional reality TV mini-sode.
So!
Right after, as soon as I get home, I google my favorite Buddhist guru, Pema Chodren, and find this enlightening video. It helped me calm down, digest, and understand what just happened.
Buddhists claim that “a spiritual friend is someone who’s job it is to insult you”. This helps you get to know just what sets you off, shuts you down, or gets you hooked. So I’m just oh so grateful to have met my new spiritual friend, who taught me that I really have issues with loud mouthed skanky bitches who just won’t shut up.
I’m looking forward to watching this video over and over and over (ha!), getting to know my Shenpa, and think about ways I could introduce more compassion in similar circumstances down the rocky OR the yellow brick road called life.
Say hola to Marlon, a member of LA Stripper Invasion. Read/scroll on for more, much, much more of Marlon and his banditos. Oh, btw there’s a few surprises for you at the end…

Pan Dulce celebrated their nine year anniversary by bringing a basket-full of sweet treats from LA, the famous Caramelo strippers. Gloria Trevi concert tickets were given away, as were appetizers, courtesy of Zapata Taqueria. You can see my original assignment in the nightlife section of EdgeSanFrancisco.com.
Here’s a dozen or so of the juiciest, dripping wet teasers from my gallery of 211 too racy for Edge Media outtakes. Click right on the crotches in any of these pictures to enter.
Can’t say for sure, but I thought I was getting a str8 vibe.
Yet he seemed to be having such a great time, teasing and waving that baseball bat right in our gay faces.
He was extra willing and kind when asked to pose for pictures.
Just a reminder as we near the end of our post (there’s still two surprises coming), to click on any of these photos to see my outtakes gallery, just bulging, aching, and straining with 211 more images from the event.
Choreographer Luis Paul Canales sidelines as a cocktail server. He also dances go go at The Cafe and other venues in the bay area. Be sure to see his production “The Dark Tunnel Series” at Dance Mission Theater Sept 13, 14, and 15, 2013.
And now for the first surprise. I’ve curated a slide show of the raciest underwear ads on Amazon.com (Yes I’m an affiliate now). I was shocked, pleasantly of course, just to see how much skin and bulge can be shown, and if you click through, it takes you to the product page where you can zoom in and enlarge and inspect the goods as close up as being teabagged! These items make great gifts, for yourself and for your partner. Or your private dancer.
Amazon.com WidgetsWelcome back from browsing/shopping Amazon, hope you had fun. Now I have a treat for you. For our final surprise, a youtube video of Marlon in action on stage at this event. Ektor the Gaga Monster filmed it on their smart phone and was kind enough to post it on Youtube for the world and us to see.
Update update! I found another version of Honey singing “Feeling Good”. It was at the opening of MOTHA : Museum of Transgender History and Art ( sfmotha.org ) at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. She’s tastefully glammed out, and wows us with a middle eastern/Beyonce prelude, a slow, steady build up, and then a stunningly long and forceful final note. I put it at the end of this post, just in case you’d like to see the original:
Having a lazy Sunday afternoon, listening to my Youtube playlist: “Killer Glam Diva Performances“. It’s tea time, and I’m FEELING GOOD! Watch as Honey gives a smokin rendition of the song Nina Simone made famous.
Be sure to see Honey and her pals burn up the stage every Monday night at “Mahogany Mondays” at the Midnight Sun, in SF CA.
Honey Mahogany and the Erika Von Volkyrie trio perform at Martuni’s. Featuring Elvis Johnson on drums and Bill Noertker on bass. Video recorded by Under the Golden Gate:

After shooting my assignment for Edge Media at Sticky Wednesday @ The Cafe, I popped on over to 440 Castro for one of their $2 lite beer specials. This hot, delicious go go pulutang* is what I found.
His name is Esdli Pizban, and he was absolutely sweet and friendly and loved being photographed.
BTW, click on any of these pictures to see my gallery of 41 photos of Esdli and other encounters from that night.
Here’s Esdli giving a fun farewell to this couple, they were spending their last night in town before returning to New Zealand.
I stepped outside for a quick puff puff, and this handsome young man, Tony, was kind enough to join in and bat his eyelashes at me.
As did this brother and sister duo, who had been carrying on at Q-Bar’s Wednesday party “Booty Call“. Which one has more makeup on?
*Pulutang is Tagalog for late night snack.
So I’m working hard at editing my two assignments for this week: Sticky Wednesday @ The Cafe, and JockOFF Thursday @ The Powerhouse. Get your napkins and wet wipes ready, the pics will be up any minute now in the nightlife section of EdgeSanFrancisco.com. The outtakes will be posted here at Photojimsf.com after two weeks.
